Scot Weaver has been a volunteer at the William A. Burnard Warming Center since its inception. In 2024, he was asked to serve on the Board of Directors and he has filled both roles since that time.
Scot doesn’t come from a social services background. His degrees are in engineering, and he has worked in the software industry for more than 30 years for EarthSoft Inc. where he also serves on the Board. He has managed clients, software, and people for more than two decades–and this experience translates to his activities on the WAB Warming Center Board.
Although he is involved in governance and leadership, Scot is driven by the opportunity to be in the Warming Center, among the guests. Scot is a father of six with two grandkids and two granddogs. When not working or serving at the Warming Center, he can probably be found on the trails around Cache Valley where he has lived for almost 30 years.
