Amanda Lilly is a faculty member in Communication Studies at Utah State University who is passionate about education, advocacy, and community engagement. She is honored to serve alongside a dedicated group of individuals working to support and empower members of the Cache Valley community. Amanda believes communication plays a powerful role in helping people advocate for themselves and others, build connections, and create communities where individuals feel heard, valued, and supported. Her commitment to this work is shaped by both personal and professional experiences, including earlier experiences volunteering and working in the St. Louis area. These experiences continue to influence her approach to teaching, mentorship, and community care. Through her work in public speaking and interpersonal communication, Amanda strives to help people develop confidence, empathy, and the ability to engage thoughtfully with the world and the people around them. She values collaboration, mentorship, and community care and hopes to contribute to spaces where people feel safe, supported, and seen.
Outside of work, Amanda enjoys powerlifting, gardening, reading, and spending time with her husband, cats, and chickens.
